My Words My Choice
When I came in to work today. This was posted on my clients refrigerator(pic) and I began to think about my day and the choice of Words I choose to use today. Did I misuse my Gift of speaking because many can't speak.Did I even bless someone with some kind words. Was I rude to anyone. What about you today! Did you choose your words wisely.
It is written that Life and death are in the Power of the Tongue... Proverbs18:21 And
Matthew 12:36 - But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For every choice of words we make we shall give account of on judgement day. I am reminded of a song we sang in sunday school when I was young It went something like this :-
O be careful little mouth what you say
O be careful little mouth what you say
There's a Father up aboveAnd
He's looking down in love
So, be careful little mouth what you say
So lets make a declaration today
I Irene K declare and decree the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Here are some scriptures to meditate on
Ephesians 4:29- Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. Matthew 12:36 - But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Psalms 19:14 - Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer. Proverbs 18:21 - Death and life [are] in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Matthew 12:37 - For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Proverbs 17:27 - He that hath knowledge spareth his words: [and] a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.
